Balearic Jobs is pleased to announce that after years of operating as a personal project (established 2001) it has recently developed into a business after attracting the interest of local businesses on the Balearic islands.

This means that we are now able to offer some outstanding opportunities for businesses to promote themselves to workers traveling to the islands for the summer, a potential all year round client base.

While Balearic Jobs busy months are between November and late May, we remain pretty busy all year round in what is a niche market. Don't be dazzled by hit rates! While we cannot boost some of the impressive "hit rates" that other general travel website's have, our visitor number reflect a very select and committed market to sell your products too. If you are selling to people traveling abroad to work and live, we provide an excellent investment. Pretty much every visitor we have are doing just that!

Also unlike some website's, we provide you with honest numbers - we only give you the Unique Visitor figures, not the "hit rate". Sites that only get a few hundred visitors per month can list hit rates in the tens of thousands because of message board, search engine robots and such forth. The unique visitor rate is counted once per person per visit, not every page click.

Our recent stats (according to Google Analytics, available on request)

- 1 April 2008 to 1 May 2008 - 6,643 unique visitors
- 1 May 2008 to 1 June 2008 - 5,907 unique visitors
- 1 June 2008 to 1 July 2008 - 5,511 unique visitors

Unfortunately, due to an error we do not have figures available for the start of the year, which is our busiest period. We estimate, based on our message board activity that we would be looking at more like 8,000 unique visitors per month between Feb and April. We will post the 2009 figures as soon as possible.

We use Google Adwords to drive up our visitor numbers with adverts worded to attract the type of people Balearic Jobs will interest.

So what are your options for advertising on Balearic Jobs?

• One of our three 265x60* pixel image advertisements situated just below our main logo on every page** (including newly created ones) and the workers message board.
  
  The price of these are €100 per month or €80 per month for a 3 month commitment***.
  
  
• You can buy the most prominent advertisement position on Balearic Jobs which is the 700x75* pixel banner image situated just below our main logo on every page** (including newly created ones) and the workers message board.
  
  The price for this is 200 Euros per month or €150 per month for a 3 month commitment***.
  
  
• One of the text links. These can be up to 5 words long (max 10 chars per word, however on negation you may be able to use less words and thus more characters) and will be presented in standard size text in normal face (not bold) situated just below our main logo on every page** (including newly created ones) and the workers message board.
  
  The price for this is €25 per month or €20 per month for a 3 month commitment***.

In certain circumstances we may also consider commission only contracts instead of the above listed payments, however these would be studied by ourselves in order to ascertain if it will potentially offer a better deal for Balearic Jobs.

The image or logo you use to advertise your business would be entirely up to your self. We may even offer to assist you if you do not have the appropriately formatted advert for use on web sites, however this would be an informal service and not part of the above advertisement package - contractually this would be your responsibility.
